Preservation of evidence
Construction activities can cause damage to surrounding buildings. Fracture monitoring protocols and vibration measurements are preventive forms of evidence and serve as a possible basis for damage settlement.
In order to clarify whether and to what extent construction work has actually caused damage to an adjacent property in the event of a claim, the building owner is required to provide evidence to the immediate neighbours in accordance with SIA 118 Art. 111.
If a dispute arises, the preservation of evidence provides you with objective and professional arguments in order to properly settle the case and have unjustified claims dismissed.
